How Bookkeeping Works

1. Apply & Enroll Online
Start by completing our quick online application to confirm eligibility. Once approved, you’ll receive your Subscription Agreement.
We use the QuickBooks Online accounting platform for robust functionality, performance, reliability, and security. The cost of QuickBooks Online is included in your monthly subscription.

2. Welcome & QuickBooks Setup
You’ll get a Welcome Email with access instructions, onboarding videos, and your setup checklist.
We’ll create or connect your QuickBooks Online account and help you link up to four bank or credit card feeds for automatic syncing and reconciliation.

3. Setup Review & Catch-Up
Your dedicated bookkeeper reviews your setup, confirms your bank feeds are syncing correctly, and imports any simple historical data if needed so your books begin clean and accurate.
If you need more catch-up bookkeeping help, we can offer that as well under a separate proposal at affordable rates.

4. Monthly Bookkeeping
Each month, your financial transactions automatically flow into QuickBooks from your connected bank and credit card accounts. Our team reviews, categorizes, and reconciles your accounts, flagging any exceptions for your input.
Every business transaction is recorded and assigned to the correct category for accurate financial reporting and easier tax preparation. Any reconciliation issues are resolved through your online dashboard and with the assistance of our certified bookkeepers.

5. Reports & Dashboard Insights
By the 15th of each month, you will have access to your Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports plus a refreshed KPI dashboard that highlights your key financial metrics.
You’ll always have access to your financial data in QuickBooks Online to help you make business decisions.

To qualify for Early Access, you must:
- Currently use QuickBooks Online, or no current accounting system (and agree to begin using QuickBooks Online).
- Agree to essential bookkeeping support only. We will not provide support for payroll, inventory management, or job costing functionality, but you may choose to get support directly from QuickBooks for these functions.
- Agree to a minimum 6‑month subscription commitment.
- Be comfortable with an all‑online service (email/chat support only, no phone or in‑person meetings).
